For my parents' last day in town, we decided to go into DC together to take Leah to the Museum of Natural History. We couldn't all fit in the same car, so we debated carpooling or riding the metro until my dad offered up the option of riding in a little more style...

Leah LOVED the freedom she had on this special car ride |
Dallin just loved the extra cuddle time |
Leah tends to run the show... |
Gettin' kinda antsy! |
Are we there yet? |
So happy to arrive! |
We pushed Leah in the stroller for a bit, but she clearly enjoyed the freedom of running much, much more. |
Pushing the stroller is always a favorite |
This kid! Just want to kiss those cheeks! |
The famous hope diamond |
After a small lunch in the museum's cafeteria, we began to drive around the monuments a little, but it quickly became apparent that Leah was urgently needing a nap, so we cut the drive short to head home.
Tickle fest! |
As the afternoon wore on and Leah got more tired, we had to work harder and harder to contain her. We were all exhausted by the time we got home! |
Thank you, Mom and Dad, for a wonderful time. We loved having you with us!
