Last November we had a good friend of ours, John Waterfield, take some pictures of our "nearly-impossible-to-capture-in-photo" family. Leah truly is non-stop, especially when she's tired...and then you add the cold weather onto that, and stopping for a picture just wasn't going to happen. But John and his wife, Amanda, were very patient in working with us and we think they succeeded in capturing some great moments (always be sure you get a good look at Dallin's facial expressions...of all of ours, I think his are consistently the most priceless!):
Have you seen these "Melissa and Doug Trunkis" before? They're kind of out of our budget, but are such fun little luggage pieces for kids: they can ride them or pull them around as well as use them as suitcases. What a great idea for passing time at the airport! We were taking pictures in a hall by some boutique shops and Leah was kinda going crazy, so we let her wander by the shops during a photography break. The owner of one of the shops let Leah take the suitcase and play with it for about half an hour. It was a lifesaver!
I wouldn't ever hang this picture on the wall or anything, but the expression on every. single. face.
...cracks me up every time!
We all have pretty crazy faces in this picture...and you gotta love how the 4-month-old is looking at the rest of us like, "Really?! This is the family I got?!" |
One of my favorites: Leah won't pause for a second!
We found these chairs in an antique shop...is it bad we used the store for a quick photo shoot??
Back at home...Leah fell asleep on the way home (almost NEVER happens - we really wore her out) and then got some pictures of Dave, me and Dallin.
My sweet boy! |
Ha ha...again, Dallin's face! What a cutie! |
These are so incredible! I can't decide which is my favorite. These will keep us happy and satisfied till we come and visit :)
